What is the difference between Pure Perfume, Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Cologne?   The differences are simply a matter of the amount or concentration of oils in the fragrance. The highest concentration is in pure perfume. Next would be Eau de Parfum, then Eau de Toilette, and finally Eau de Cologne. Some manufacturers make a solid perfume, solid perfume is as strong as a pure perfume however it is in a gel-like consistency. Eau De Toilette and Eau De Cologne are generally interchangeable, especially in Men's fragrances. After Shave has the least amount of oils. The higher the concentration the longer your fragrance will last, and the less you need to apply.

What is the difference between a splash and a spray?   There is absolutely no difference in the fragrance. The difference is in the method of application only. However, a spray bottle, being sealed all the time, may actually have a longer shelf life. Making the decision between spray and splash is entirely a matter of personal preference.

What do fragrance notes refer to?   Fragrances are comprised of many different scents, these scents are called "notes." Top notes are very light and last just a few minutes (5-10 minutes). Middle notes become apparent in about 15 minutes after application. These can last up to an hour or more. Bottom notes are the heavier ingredients. These last the longest, usually for several hours.

How can I keep my fragrance from going bad?   Keep all fragrances in a cool, dry area, and away from windows as sunlight can unbalance the various ingredients. An opened bottle should be kept in its box to insure a longer shelf life.

How much will it cost me to ship my purchase?   Depending on the total price of your purchase will determine the cost to ship. In general, all orders over the amount of AUD $65 will enjoy FREE shipping.   All orders under the purchase total of AUD $65 will incur a AUD $6.50 posting and handling charge. This charge will be added to your order total at time of checkout.

Do you ship to other countries apart from Australia & New Zealand?   At this current stage, we only ship to Australian and New Zealand customers.   If you are interested in purchasing from our website and wish to ship to any other worldwide destination, please contact us sales@theshoppingbox.com.au to discuss shipping.

In what currency is my order charged?   All orders will be charged through our payment system (EWAY) in Australian Dollars (AUD).   All New Zealand customers can use the online currency conversion facility to make it easier to convert prices to your local currency.  Our site uses up to date currency conversion rates updated on a daily basis.

Are there any other charges that I should be aware of?   No. The Shopping Box team issues no fees or charges other then what is mentioned above.   We do not charge a fee for using your credit card or AMEX card on our site.   Your credit card provider may charge additional fees or a international conversion fee for New Zealand customers. Please check with your card provider.

Is Gift Wrapping available for my purchase?   Yes. All Fragrance purchases enjoy FREE gift wrapping as a part of The shopping box service. Your fragrance will arrive in either a gift box, gift bag or gift wrap depending on the fragrance and quantities purchased.     Additional gift wrapping services are available for all orders for an additional AUD $3.50 fee.
